BOOKINGS & CANCELLATIONS
Easy, positive and essential information
to get your in the water and swimming :)
Clarity and consistency are markers of my professional practice. It is my purpose to make sure that your lessons are booked and confirmed in a clear and easy manner. I, too, have extra curricular activities and know very well that even when I plan to be at a lesson, something may come up to derail me from routine - especially when it comes to my kids activities. So, I understand you!
Here are a few essentials to help us along:

HOW TO MAKE A BOOKING
Booking a swim lesson, hydrotherapy and any other service provided by Under Water with Taryn are confirmed via completing an in-take form per your lesson request. The form will include basic information about the swimmer requesting a lesson, any important health information (emotional and physical) you believe relevant, and an opportunity to share your aims and motivations for seeking swim services. Upon completion of the form, we shall conduct an introductory phone call or meeting in-person (at your convenience). Following our talk, we schedule an optimal time for your first lesson. The details of our scheduling will be sent to you in writing, and you will receive a reminder 24 hours before the lesson to make sure you are feeling good, ready for our lesson, or require a re-schedule.

Summary of booking process:
1. complete in-take form
2. intro call to schedule first meeting (via phone, at your home or location TBC)
3. initial meeting at the pool

CANCELLATION CHARGES
In order to cancel a scheduled swim lesson, hydrotherapy session or other, you are requested to notify, in writing (WhatsApp or via this website contact form) no less than 24 hours prior to the lesson. Failure to meet this cancellation deadline will result in 50% charge for the relevant lesson. The cancellation sum is used to cover the cost of the pool reservation.

It is my suggestion that if you cannot make a lesson, instead of a timely notification or incurring the cancellation fee, offer the lesson to a family member or friend so that they can come instead. This way you can turn your cancellation (known or unexpected) into an awesome gift opportunity for someone you love.

Summary of cancellation process:
1. contact 24 hours prior to lesson scheduled
2. cancellations that do not meet the cancellation deadline will be charged 50% for the relevant lesson

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU CAN'T MAKE IT TO A LESSON
If you know in advance that you will not be able to attend your lesson, please let me know so that I can arrange for an alternative time for you, or to make sure that you are not charged for a lesson you know you cannot attend. I want to see you in the water! But if you can't, I want to make sure that you are sorted on our end. I's for your peace of mind and pocket :)
